About Us

Alpenglow Winery is a family-owned, boutique vineyard located in the heart of Ramona, California. Established by husband-and-wife team Chris and Marie, the winery reflects a shared commitment to quality, sustainability, and hands-on craftsmanship. After relocating to the property in December 2018, new vines were planted the following spring, and the first vintage was produced in fall of 2019.

Drawing on Chris’s extensive background in the restaurant and food & beverage industry and Marie’s expertise in electrical engineering, Alpenglow Winery has brought a unique blend of sensory intuition and technical rigor to every aspect of farming the vineyard, hand harvesting and winemaking. Our collaborative approach has ensured that each vintage is thoughtfully crafted and expressive of the region’s character.

As one of the smallest boutique wineries in the valley, Alpenglow specializes in a limited production of white, rosé, and red wines, with a focus on warm weather loving Rhône and Spanish-style varietals. From crisp, aromatic whites to elegant rosés and bold, structured reds, the wines reflect the Ramona Valley’s distinctive terroir and the couple’s dedication to hand crafted wines.
